Synchronize
Synchronization means never having to read the same feed twice! One of the things that separates NewsGator apart from the competition is synchronization. This feature makes sure your feeds follow you wherever you go, and makes sure you never have to read the same content twice whether you read that content online, on your mobile device or on a totally different platform.
There are three types of information that NewsGator keeps synchronized:
Feeds: so you can add/delete your feeds in one place, and the changes will be reflected on other locations.
Read/unread information: if you download or delete an item on one location (NewsGator Online, FeedDemon or NewsGator Inbox, for example), you won't see that item anywhere else (unless you want to).
Which locations have which feeds: you may want separate (or overlap) feeds in each location. For example, you may have feeds at work that you can't access at home, since they're behind your corporate firewall. NewsGator allows you to specify where each feed should go, and just "does the right thing" when it's time to sync.
